Triathlon bikes have been gradually optimised until have reached “peak aero”, where all the top bikes have similar drag. Ceepo has fought back with radical innovation. The Shadow-R is revolutionary in 3 different ways: 1.Sidefork - normal bike forks protrude either side of the wheel, into the airflow. Ceepo has turned the fork sideways, so one fork leg is in front of the wheel, shielding the counter-rotating wheel top from the air. 2.No leading edges - every part of the Shadow-R frame is in the wind-shadow of something else. From the fork back, the Shadow-R is invisible to the wind from almost any angle. 3.Central beam - all the bike’s components are arranged in one continuous, strong beam.

Beim Ceepo Shadow-R ist jedes Detail auf Aerodynamik ausgerichtet. Dadurch erhält das Triathlonrad sein einzigartiges Design, das es zu einem echten Hingucker macht. Aus einigen Metern Entfernung fällt dem Beobachter nicht einmal mehr auf, dass das Rad überhaupt eine Gabel oder Speichen besitzt.
