ENVE Carbon Hub

The ENVE Carbon Hub is one of its kind. Using a selection of application optimized materials the ENVE hub is not only extremely lightweight, but extremely durable. With a 100% carbon fiber hub shell, the fibers run uninterrupted throughout the hub creating maximum strength and power transmission through a traditional j-bend spoke and to the wheel. ENVE opted for traditional j-bend spoke attachment to ensure that serviceability was maximized. The weight of this full carbon hub is even more impressive coming in at a scant 74 grams for the front hub and 158 grams for the rear. For sake of comparison the DT180 carbon/alloy shell hub weighs 101 grams for the front and 190 for the rear.

Dieser Nabensatz ist wahnsinnig leicht. Um das niedrige Gewicht zu erreichen, hat der Hersteller einige innovative Detaillösungen gefunden. So werden zum Beispiel erstmals auch die Nabenflansche aus Carbon hergestellt.
