ilu

"ilu" = full integration of light into a mudguard. The front light exists in two versions, "ilu 15" with a light output of 15 lux and "ilu 30" with an output of 30 lux. Both lights are smoothly integrated under a CLite front fender, having enough stability to avoid vibrations. The angle of the light is adjustable, by means of a hidden screw under the rubber cap, including also a switch to turn the light on and off. The rear light is available in a "ilu jr" and a "ilu sr" version, having a different lenght. Both front and rear lights are fully waterproof and are StVZO approved. Standlight is available, as also a DC version for e-bikes. The project was done in partnership with Bush&Muller.

Jury Statement

Das Fahrradlicht elegant zu integrieren, ist eine große Herausforderung. Besonders gut gelungen ist dies Curana und Busch & Müller mit ilu. Hier ist das Licht schön in das Schutzblech eingebettet – ein sehr gelungenes Design.
