Cervélo R5CA

Cervélo has been stirring up the market with its unique SquovalTM tubeset: for each zone of the frame, the cross section transforms from square to oval. This resolves the conflict of goals between stiffness, lightweight and comfort. On top of that, the R5ca has a completely asymmetric frame design: as the front chainrings are only on one side, the available space on the other side is now better used by the tubes – most visibly in the new BBright bottom bracket area. This results in even more stiffness, record low weight and unique aesthetics. A <700g frame that withstands the torture of professional racing is only available from Cervélo.
